The Snap Sampler is the subject of ESTCP ER-0630, a demonstration/validation of the Snap Sampler technology
Several reports and presentation have been during the Snap Sampler ESTCP project, during preliminary research, and for technology transfer.
Some of these reports and presentations are included here for free download.
Ongoing results will be posted as they become available.
This report by Louise Parker and Nathan Mulherin investigates laboratory and field comparisons of the Snap Sampler to control methods including low flow purging.
Conclusions of the study are very positive for the Snap Sampler for VOC and Explosives analytes.
Few techncial problems are discussed, which have been subsequently addressed in response to the findings.
This poster presentation by Louise Parker and Nathan Mulherin from the the December 2007 SERDP/ESTCP conference illustrates the results of metals sampling at Pease Air Force base in New Hampshire.
The data illustrate that the Snap Sampler performed well for metal analytes when compared with low flow purging and the regenerated cellulose passive sampler.
Louise Parker and Nathan Mulherin of the US Army Corps Cold Regions lab presented this study at the "Nielsen" North American Environmental Field Conference in Tampa, Florida in January 2008.
A consolidated presentation of Snap Sampler comparisons are presented that show the Snap Sampler works well for all analytes tested.
